About the procedure
The ARTAS Robotic Procedure uses precision robotics and digital mapping to identify and harvest the healthiest hair follicles for transplantation. The process avoids large surgical incisions, meaning no linear scar and minimal discomfort.
The procedure typically takes between four to eight hours, depending on your hair restoration goals. You’ll be comfortably seated throughout, with Dr Theo Birch and the team monitoring your comfort and progress. Local anaesthetic is used to ensure you feel virtually no pain.
Results are natural-looking, allowing you to wear your hair in any style with confidence. New hairs usually begin to grow around three months after the procedure, continuing to develop over 12 months.
